pipes pop off because clamps are loose, not because of oil.

^^lol, tru dat. I just recently ditched my catch can. I had a homemade one and it was a pain in the *** to mount it and where it was mounted always made it difficult to empty. Didn't feel like spending $100 on a namebrand one so I just left it off.

ORIGINAL: VTSRT4

I thought blow by could possibly blow the turbo or is a sign that the turbo is about to blow?
If the oil is in the exhaust, sure. White smoke = bad times

white smoke usually means that the head gasket is blown. if the seals on the turbo are shot and oil is being burnt in the exhaust the smoke will be blue.
