Default air/fuel gauge again.........

I know this has been asked alot of times already, but I cannot find a good answer... I bought an autometer/mopar air/fuel gauge, then I boughtan autometer o2 sensor. So I have all the parts, my question is, has any of you actually put this new o2 sensor on? I looked at taking my cat off to take it to a welder, HA... If you can use a 1 inch long wrench, and have a 6 foot long arm that can bend in any direction, you can get the nuts off, but other than that, I cannot see how to get the cat off. I would really rather not have anyone else even touch my car, so I want to take the cat off before he goes to puting a torch to it, and also, if the o2 sensro has to go before the cat, you can't get to it without taking it off.
Does it need to go in front of the cat, or can it go after it?

thanks in advance, I hope that one of you have actually done this, so you know for sure what I am talking about.

Has any of you changed your cat? maybe you could answer that question too, of How do you get the cat off?????

ok, new ??? i finally got the cat off... many many cuts and bruises and blood later, i got it off... jk, but my right arm is quite sore from bending around screws and sharp objects...

anyway, my question, have any of you experienced a high flow cat on your srt? after getting mine off, I hate to put it back on since I have always wanted a high flow anyway. what do ya'll think about them?

i have a high flow cat in my dp..it's interchangeable so i also have a race pipe. it makes the car a little louder, but not all that much. i honestly don't remember exactly, as it was a while ago and i put on my o2 housing at the same time so things just got louder in general.

the new o2 sensor should be on the dp, just before the cat. it cannot go after it. just put the wiring through the grommet in the fire wall and you'll be good.

and no, i haven't installed this gauge on my car or anyone else's, i prefer using an egt over an a/f. i know how it needs to be installed however, and can help you if you need it.

thanks chick... tell me if i am right. I will have the o2 welded just above the cat, run the three wires from the o2 sensor to a ground, power, and the gauge, then run the gauge to power, ground, and dash lighting. Is that it???

Also, what about oil pressure? where does the sensor go, does anyone know?

there should be four wires...

purple is the volts, connects directly to the o2 sensor, red is the 12v source (attach to an accessory), black is the ground, grey goes to the headlight.

here's a link to a thread about the oil pressure gauge, it goes over most of it.....Oil Pressure Gauge Install

What may I ask is the point of keeping your stock oil pressure sensor in there? I don't know if its a lot different on the SRT, but there isn't a whole hell lot of room to be putting a "T" in there so you can have both stock sensor and oil pressure sender in there. If you have a oil pressure guage whats teh point of keeping the stock one in there?
