My silver 2005 is completely stock except for Mopar B.O.V., Mopar C.A.I., Mopar short throw shifter, and instead of adding a 6-disc changer under the dash(mine did not have that from the factory), I added a factory AM/FM 6-disc CD radio from another Dodge. I'm not the type to do all the modification B.S., but it's interesting to see and hear about other's cars. I bought mine used with 5300 miles on it back in March of '05, and love it! It's got 22,000 on her now, and it's never seen snow or rain. I have never experienced a driveline problem with mine(knock on wood). Granted though, it has a couple minor stone chips which have been touched up. I feel for you, man. There are some decent ones on Ebay for sale. If I were in your shoes, I'd find a Commemorative Edition.

Ifhe got a CE SRT-4. There would be no point. He would be babying it. He wants to modify the next one he got. Plus looking for those if even filtering his search even most. Leading into stress....

I'd love to find a ce...might assure to a degree that the previous owner might have babied it as well; but I am not holding my breath. As it stands my choices are first silver, then black, then white, then orange, then yellow, then blue then red. Speakign of Comm. and limited editions...as an aside - I found #1 of 5000 2004 R32 today. Interesting - It's about 5 k too high in price for me, but interesting...would be pretty cool to drive #1.

Well...I gave up - drove maybe 15 cars...saw 15 bad deals...got screwed by 4 dealers...and had the deal that was finally going to be good and was 2 weeks in flop due to a surprise lein on the car that I wasn't informed of prior.

So - i saw a lot of bad srt-4's and 2 good ones - the good ones were well over 18 grand and stock, well over book. The bad ones ranged from 10k to 20k...

I think maybe my idea of clean and cherry is different from others'...

So..........I give up, but I'm not sad.........was very happy(almost giddy) driving my freshly purchased 05 enthusiast model Z home today - I think it is a really solid ride...and maybe a good bit nicer (although not faster than the srt-4)(then again - think potential...I induced my first drift on the way home(powersliding is awesome!)). I couldn't argue spending the same money I would have had to spend for a perfect 05 srt-4 on a 05 nissan that originally went for 34,000$ with 30k on the clock.

So - I guess the srt-4 wasn't meant to be - I miss her - but I think I found her a good replacement that I can be happy with for years.

Props to the SRT-4's - I'll be losing to you on the street . in a straight line that is...until I make the step to forced induction on this vq35 monster motor.

good luck the with the Z they are nice cars.

I got my 05 SRT4 with 34,000 miles for 13K at a dealer. I honestly wasnt even looking around for one, just stumbled into it. My friend sells cars there, he called me up knowing I was loooking around for a new car and said you have to check this thing out, its mint, it was, I bought it.
