Srt hit the 50,000 mile mark....
So whats up with maintainence? Should I do anything special/different?? I just changed out the plugs not too long ago so those should be fine, my wires are crane cam wires...i think im gonna get some granatellis in not too long just for the heck of it....i changed the pcv valve on the car about 4-5 months ago....
the oil is kept up as it should be....and the transmission fluid leaks really slow so i put fresh fluid in it every oil change about..maybe a lil sooner sumtimes....think it still needs a change even though it leaks?? I havent changed it since i got it due to the leak...
and both front wheel bearings went bad on me and the whole hubs were replaced....even the spindle on one side...(just how i got it from the junkyard)
i hate the ride on my car so ruff...i have the goldzone lowering springs on it...(came on the car)...i wonder if they have taken a toll on my struts/shocks....

Yeah the t-belt is a good idea.
I would (and do) change the tranny fluid once a year.
My car is just over 40k now and I will be changing a very worn (!?!?) left outer tie rod tomorrow.
The new one I got from Murrays is a TRW and has a grease zirc and lifetime warranty. It was ~27.00 This will be the first big maintenance thing I've had todo to this car and I run it hard. I will do the right one soon just because.
I just did the front brakes for the first time about a month ago.
I Know the clutch is nearly done after that last trip to the dragstrip about 2 months ago as it has not felt the same since. It is still not slipping at this time (knock on wood).

nah the coolant is usually fine, but it wouldn't hurt. not a must do, but not a bad idea. ps - when you do the timing belt, change your water pump and tensioner at the same time.

you should think about doing the timing belt around 60k

I'm at 51k and I'm debating on putting some different cams in while I'm changing the timing belt. Might as well.

i hear you on doing both. my minivan - tensioner got replaced after it died and would barely hold a belt on, only to find out the water pump was shot[:@]

i think mine could use a coolant flush at 50...its startn to look a lil brown and durrty...
