Default panle acting up

So I had just left bestbuy and got in the car and was trying to start it and it was a no go. After hours of messing with it me and a couple people noticed the starter wire was bad so we took care of that and I jumped in started her up and then came to realize the insturement panle was reading "no bus" and none of my guages worked minus boost and gas!! Does anyone have any pointers for me?[:@][:@][X(][X(]

wow, guess start off by checking all of your wiring harness connections. something is amiss there for sure[&:]

so the car starts and runs or not? just the instrument panel is jacked up? tried resetting the computer?

well, you can try resetting the pcm by disconnecting the battery, leaving it off for a few than then reconnecting it. but a wiring harness comming disconnected would cause your panel to lose signal, thus have no readings. (boost gauge would work as its separate... same with fuel). could check the speed sensor on the side of the tranny, but it sounds like an electronic issue. and i have heard that 'no bus' before. i have to leave thismorning, but ill try to research that later, as i know its come up before.

its a communication issue between your ecu and cluster. try resetting the ecu. if that does not work, again, make sure all your connections are good between the ecu and cluster, its possible something came loose?
