Default Polishing the intake mani

I read on a few sites how to polish the intake mani but they were not too in depth and clear on how to make it look chrome.... does anyone have any inout on how or the best way to go about doin this??

You'll have to smooth it as best you can with sand paper... you'll probably want to start with 150 grit or so and work your way up to 600 or 800 grit. If you have a dremel, you might be able to find a bit that'll speed up the sanding part. Clean it up as best you can and then go at it with a professional-grade cotton polishing wheel. It'll be a LOT of work...you might want to consider calling around to some local metal-works shops and see what they would charge to do it. FWIW, a buddy of mine had his intercooler polished on his WRX and it cost him around $150 or $200.

ya i was sanding it and it is so much work, and its gonna be ridiculous to get in all the litlw groves. I was hoping someone had a better or quicker way other than sanding.
