i installed mopar bov but its not working
i dont know why
anyone in this forum please help me.

Then you installed it wrong. I'm guessing that you either installed the blue BOV plate with the open end towards the turbo housing or you put the gasket between the blue BOV plate and the purge valve (the part you unbolt to install the BOV) or you didn't line up the C shaped opening on the blue BOV plate and the turbo housing or the gasket or you forgot to reconnect the pink hose. The gasket goes between the blue BOV plate and the turbo housing, the C shaped opening on the blue BOV plate and the gasket need to be aligned properly with the same C shaped opening in the turbo housing (the C shape opening is towards the middle of the car, as you face the car from the front it will be just like a regular C and not a backwards or upside down C). The opening in the center of the blue BOV plate faces away from the turbo and towards the front of the car, towards the purge valve. You also need to make sure that the purge valve is on right, the pink hose that attaches to it needs to be towards the drivers side of the car. Read over your instructions a few times very carefully and then take it apart and reinstall it the correct way.

I also highly recommend that you get a tube of Permatex Hylomar Gasket Dressing and Flange Sealant at Auto Zone for $2.99. Spread a very thin layer of it on both sides of the gasket, this will make sure it doesn't leak and it helps to keep it in place when you install it. Good luck!

can you hear when radio is on?

 

In truth it isn't that loud, and you probably can't hear it with the radio on. I could barely hear mine with the windows rolled up. But since I got a CAI It sounds great.

 

I could Hear mine over wind radio all that... It was real loud

i like turbo xs bov better than mopar
i have turbo xs in my audi tt
but im happy with it

 

Glad to hear you got it fixed. I like the other BOV's but they are too much like a mousy chirp for me, I love the air brake release sound better. It's just a matter of taste and what you like.
