Technically you can do this, but doing it without adding in a muffler will just get you a few tickets and possibly your car impounded for being too loud. This would be the same as cutting the muffler off of your mom's SXT and leaving it at that, it will be far too loud. The turbo acts as a silencer and the engine is lower compression, both lessen the exhaust noise level.
