Mopar Short-throw shifter install
Any advise or things to look out for with this install? Tips?
I have the shifter, bushings, and MpX shift **** order just today....mines a 2004 SRT

it was an easy install. just remove the console, pop off the shift links, change the bushings, put the new shifter in and put it all back together. youll need a good pair of needle nose pliers though, i sure did.
trickiest part is getting to the bushings on the transmission itself. i did mine w h i l e i had my intake off.

no, not hard at all, just might be tricky to get to. l i k e i had the intake and battery tray already out, so that whole side was open for me to get to the top of the trans. squeeze a stock bushiing and squeeze a booger bushing, major difference. might have to wiggle it a bit to get it in there, but its not hard at all. hardest thing i encountered was getting the actual cable to hook back onto the shifter, hence the need for good needlenose pliers
