I fixed it 
Its all good now. And I managed to do it without damaging the Surge Valve. Its a bit louder now, but not by much. I like the Mopar BOV, I dont have a need for a full BOV so I just got the plate. Cheaper, easier, gets the hot air out, instead of recirculating it. Does it make that big of a difference? Nah. But does it sound good? Yup
