Thanks for the info. Heard a lot of mixed vibes. Does it really make that much of a difference. Doesn't a strut bar have the same effect?

strut bar helps with body roll when turning. doesn't do anything for engine movement. and yes, they do make that much of a difference.

Yep, they are completely different things that have absolutely nothing to do with one another. Not only do they make that big of a difference, but you can't go wrong since they cost under $30.
