2005 Srt 4 acr
any lowering spring is going to compromise ride quality. it doesn't matter if it's an acr. if you want a good suspension then get a set of coilovers. if you absolutely must get springs the tien's i've heard are one of the better quality ones, but i honestly can't tell you for sure just because most people i know that lower the car go with coilovers.
Teins are springs you need to be VERY careful with. For two reasons. First off alot of companies make knock-offs of Tein springs, second I have changed out LCA bushings on four SRTs that had Tein S-Techs on them. They offer a nice drop, but the ride quality is horrendous and they blow the LCA bushings out entirely within 10,000 miles.
The best springs for these cars if you want to be lowered a small amount, evenly (nothing insane) and have good ride quality, are the Mopars or the H&R Sports. If you must go with Tein, the H-techs are a better option though still subpar. I have been in an SRT with Goldline springs and the ride is a bit harsh on these also, his struts are also blown. I drove an SRT for two months with the Eibach Sportline kit, and that was hell. The Pro kit is a bit less of a drop and not as harsh but neither Eibach kit offers an even drop, with the Sportline having a 2" front and 2.4" rear drop. I have had the Mopar kit on my car and my struts did not blow until 101k, these are stock struts not ACR struts but still Tokicos nonetheless.
Coilovers are in fact what about half of people go with, especially with the ACRs if they want to upgrade their wheels. You need to keep your wheels around the same size that they are currently if you want to run the stock struts. But when most people go with coilovers its so they can slam their cars, so they run BC or Megan Racing coils. If I were to go with coilovers it would be the Mopar Stage 3s.
