another idel problem.....
well this is my second time bringin my car back because of the high idle some people had on their srt... well i didnt get my car back, but tomorrow he said i can pick it up, and there going to be running this program in my car from "star" which is going to record everything that is goin on i guess.... he said when they hooked it p on there computer, nothing was wrong, and there puttin this program in my car, and everytime i get this problem i press a bottom i guess and it records everything that is goin on...everyone else ever have this done, and does it actually work???
also i told him about other people who have this problem and they said to replace the "harness" but he told me just to replace the harness that it wouldnt be covered under warrenty, is this true? and how much does it coast anywayz?
let me know what you guys think, and ur input, thanks.....

its tps sensor. i had the same problem... but with me, my rpm's was goin from idle to 4200 rpm's consistantly. either your sensor is not gettin the right amount of volts or the packing (o-ring) has a rip/tear that's not gettin a proper seal.
let me know wassup, cuz

All work done to your car at the dealer caused by equipment malfunction or failure IS covered by warranty. Check out Bucking and clicking noise Posted in Neon SRT-4 by Silverrt4 that is where I posted what happened with my car. Had a rough idling problem. Everything is explained there. But in all honesty I think that the dealer is feeding you a line of BS. When you get down doing the testing with the shop you are dealing with now, I would look into going to a smaller dodge dealer, which seem to be more personable. Let me know what happens, you definitly don't have to pay for parts, it IS under warranty.
i know, im thinkin of going to a different dealership which is smaller but sometimes i dont know what the hell tere doin and get worried about my performance add ons... and also not everything i put on was mopar, most perrin actually...this dealership hasnt said anything about it so thats why i tok it back over there, but this is starting to **** me off... he said he order the wire harness today which should and hopefully fix the problem... but i got 1 question... isnt the wire harness just a 1 simple peice... because he was telling me its a whole engine wire harness that goes from the tb and around the whole engine some how, not to sure how he emplained it.... anyone know what the hell hes talking about?
