The type of bov I am hunting for I actully want one that is loud and for now it will be going on my stock turbo on the srt-4. I have listened to a video with the bov comparison. I liked the turbo xs bov cause it was loud. I also like the Greedy type s i dunno why lol but it was kind of sexy and now for the last one the regular all around mopar cause of the sound it makes.
I have this one thought out but i have never heard of the combination before
turbo xs bolt flange kit of bov
and either turbo xs bov or the type h rfl bov but i have never heard of that one before

so can anyone help me out with this what i am looking for is a loud psssst with a great sound quality of it like wow thats a nice sound kind of way if you know what i mean

and is this true when u go up in the stage 1 2 3 your bov will get louder or is that only with a intake

A great sounding BOV? Well the Turbo XS is loud as hell, but after 6 months prepare for leakage. Though it does sound good.

The HKS sounds like a dying bird. The Greddy isn't my cup of tea either. I have the Mopar BOV its just enough for me, and it's a helluva lot cheaper than a full on BOV with pipes that you absolutely DO NOT need until you upgrade your turbo.

Does it get louder? I don't know. But like I said with not having anything on the engine a full BOV with pipes isnt the best, or most financially feasbile decision

 

Oddly enough, I told my buddy with an HKS that it sounded like somebody kicked an ostrich in the privates Not that I said privates

And double what Sexy said about the reasoning behind it. Unless you HAVE to have a different sound, or are either getting a big turbo, or playing with vac lines in such a way that the computer can't control the stock valve, then get the Mopar or the Forge, or just leave the stocker alone.

 

sorry about the post from before what i was asking was whats the loudest bov you can get but at the same time has a good (pssst when u let off gas and shift) sound quality to it

type xs bov

Is there anything i will need extra to block the factory one and if you dont think that would be worth a dime what bov kit would you recommend

Yo I think the mopar blow off valve is great. It gets louder with stage 1 and intake and turning up the boost. The thing's a BEAST. I heard people with the turbo xs I don't like it,yo for $65 you can 't loose.I thought of changing it when my car was stock,the bov is extremely loud now after my upgrades.

 

i myself have the Mopar BOV, and to be honest, I find it annoying...I wanted to get the HKS BOV for the longest time (no, it doesn't sound like a dying bird) but I was hesitant to get it because I didn't know how it would sound, but I heard it on a SRT-4 the other day out of state and it sounds hott!! Besides that, (I don't know how it is where everyoneelse is from), but in my area, everyone and their mother with a SRT-4 has the Mopar BOV, and its played out...I'm def. gunna get the HKS BOV as soon as possible
