Boost Leak Tester

make one of those and pressure test the system.

did you use a gasket when you installed the dp? you also need to retighten the bolts on the dp after a few heat cycles. that would be the first thing to check, but it's always a good idea to check the whole system for leaks anyway.

If you've dropped 1-2 psi, I think that's a side effect of the downpipe. but like chick said, it never hurts to do a leak check. For our cars, a 2 inch plumbing coupler at Lowes is a perfect fit, comes premolded with clamps already installed.

i read in sport copact that the computer is set up for the stock piping. when the sensors see less back pressure the computer throws a fault cutting back on the boost to save the motor, because it thinks something is wrong with the car. They said they had to go to stage 2 , because it is designed with the mopar catback (which is bigger, and causes less backpressure) in mind. go to sport compact project srt-4 for more info. hopefully you will not the the stage 2. good luck
