Reflash stage 1 on 04
It works for s1 or s2. I bought my stage 2 froma dealer i met at a track day last fall. It was bought for another srt-4, but the owner ditched. Rather than wait the 2 or 3 months to order one for my vin, I bought the kit, took it to a dealer who was srt-4 friendly, and they put it in, reflashed it to my vin, and put the s0 computer back in, so I could drive home and do the install of s2 w/toys in my friends garage.
No problems, just find an srt-4 friendly dealer, that is the key. 3 dealers told me it was impossible before i found the one who finally did it with no problem.
Good luck.

While were on the subject of flashes.....when I got my SRT4 I saw a flash for a "Mexican" turbo IV". I called tech line (i work at a dealer) and they told me not to do it. Traditionally, the Mexican cars had better programs (for performance). So I spend $300.00 on stage one. Now this gets interesting....when I plugged in the DRB 3 scan tool into the car, the stage one module description that comes up is "Mexican turbo IV" Hmmmmm. Any feedback on this????

Seriously - that's interesting, I wonder if there is any performance difference. You should get it dyno'ed and find out if you have a better power curve...I would like to see, it might motivate me to find a mexican stage 3r add-on kit in the next couple of months.

I'm betting the SRT gang used the Mexican program as a starting point and never renamed the filename. Similar to why the S2 with Toys PCMs set those pesky Auto trans codes, just easier to leave'em be.
Hit your stock PCM with that Mexican flash, see what happens
Boost levels are up by 1-2 psi in S1, and the WOT shift feature should give it away. Or slap in Sexys car, since she's unmodded.
