Well, I'm not sure if you all know but I'm piecing together stuff to throw a turbo on my car. My big question at the moment is can I fit the stock SRT front mount behind my bumper without cutting it to shreds? I'm not sure if any of you know, but I'm sure someone with an SRT4 has put an SXT front bumper on to make their car look sleeper. Or should I just get a new bumper to make it easier? Thanks for replies.

 

if you are thinking about buying a bumper anyway, then I would just try it to mount it up with your stock bumper before i went out and bought a new one... if it don't work, then you can get you a new bumper... Someone else may know if it fits or not, but before i ordered a bumber, I would try it and see if it fits first, it is free to do that...

 

Oh I'm not ordering soon...I'm just trying to figure out whether i'm gonna need a new front end or not. It would delay my turbo project longer if I need a new nose.

But one of these weekends maybe I will just take my bumper off and find out for myself whether it does or not.

Why not just go buy an SRT-4 ....it would be much easier

 

Nice attempt at answering it.....but try again. I'm not looking for, well go buy an SRT4....because that is not an option for me right now.

 

Might be har to find, but what about a junked or crashed srt bumper. It would have to be from a t bone, so the front is still intact.

 

I know, I was thinking of just getting the SRT front end, but I sort of don't want to copy it completely. But I may end up doing that because I thought i saw or heard someplace that you have to hack the SXT bumper all up to fit the intercooler.

 

jdm sells a front end srt conversion if the intercooler will not fit im sure it will with that conversion a kid that lives by me did it
