thought you guys would laugh at that, but seriously went to test drive one today and it felt like i was sitting on top of the seat [:'(] guess its time to go on a diet but untill then i im going to have to go with the low back seats luckly they didnt have one there so i had an excuse for them not to bug me since i didnt like the seats lol he actualy asked if i would be interested in a reg. neon lol

 

They were real tight when I bought the car, but my fat *** stretched it out. Fits like a glove now.

Are those seats really that small, or are you really that big. The seats didn't look bad when I saw them.

 

I'm not small and I fit fairly well except during the winter since I have to wear several layers and I work outside half the time.

 

the other thing i didnt really like was that you cant sit sideways in the seat like went you sit in a car with the car door open

 

Yeah, I popped the button off a brand new suit the other day because it is so hard to lean out of the car, those bolsters really hold you in.

I love closing the door from the inside, when it is all the way open, that is a lot of fun(heh).

But the seat grows on you after a while. I find it very comfy.

 

i like how the seats hold me in place when i'm driving, but i get a lot of complaints about passengers not being able to reach the door when they're sitting in the seats and the doors open...

 

I got used to closing the door while getting in, it took about 3 times to get used to, just like putting on seatbelts. I always get the door for my lady, no complaints there. The seats are nice but I wish they had airbags.

 

I might not have sold my '99 Neon R/T if it had these Viper seats in it, the stock seats in it sucked soooooooo bad and they wouldn't hold me in place at all and I love taking the corners and curves at a very fun pace. The crappy seats were the only thing I didn't like about my R/T, I had to wear the seat belt just to help keep me in the seat through the twisties.[:'(]

 

I have a driveway so all Ihave to do is back up at about 10 mph and then hit the breaks and the dor closes itself... My girlfriend says she thinks they changed the seats between 04 and 05 (it is her car... I for the moment have a RAM)... any word on that?
