i got a bad one and dont know what to do
i bought a white srt4 with 39000 miles on it. it looked good and drove good when i test drove it. so i bought it and i had it up on a hoist at work and we found an oil leak. i had it in today and the tecs ballanced my tires and found 2 bent rims. theres no cat. on it and theres a missing bolt on the exhaust maniflod. ive already spent 500 dollars on this car. and the dealer i bought it from wont stand behind his worrenty. we also checked car fax and it had nothing on there but i know the previouse owner hit something. cause of two bent rims a new intercooler and an aftermarket bumper. idk what to do now. ive had the car for 5 days.

If the car was sold "AS IS", then your on your own. However "most" dealers, even small ones will give you atleast a 14 day or 1k warranty free of charge. (what i got with mine)An oil leak from any part of power train should be covered by dodge in the 5 year warranty. i had similar problem when i bought my srt. Had a bent wheel and the small used car dealer i got mine from replaced the wheel and threw in 2 new tires just to keep his good name.(I asked him to) Maybe i got lucky, maybe you have to pry a bit more with the dealer you bought it from. good luck

It sounds like there is an aftermarket intercooler on there for more power, a common SRT-4 upgrade. The catless exhaust is also a common upgrade for more power. The missing bolt was probably due to the previous owner swapping on a new turbo manifold or swapping back to stock from a big turbo set up.
Are there any wires cut and spliced in the engine compartment? For example, the fuel injection wires right near the injectors? If so, it was probably a big turbo car swapped back to stock.
Like said above, you bought the car as is and should have checked it out BEFORE you bought it. With that said, ask the dealer about the cat. I am not sure if it is legal for them to sell you a car without disclosing that it did not have the proper emissions equipment.

The EPA requires a cat on the SRT-4. States may not check, if they don't inspect cars, but it is required to have since the car came with one. This applies to any registered vehicle that came with one.
My 1971 Dart did not come with one, so it does not need one.
