that sucks.. so prety much everything we do is gunna void it..even there stage kits void it if racing and when you buy a stage kit they know it was because of racing..oh well. good thing there pretty strong motors
No. They are telling their service techs what to look for as the cause for certain failures and if any mods you have done are the cause of a failure then you are screwed and it will not be covered by the vehicles warranty. Just because you put on added performance parts does NOT mean they can void your warranty because they cannot. The ONLY things that WILL void the warranty is racing or if the added performance part(s) are the direct cause for a failure and then it only voids it for that repair only, everything else is still covered.
Here it is straight from the Mopar catalog on this topic:
"Dodge, Chrysler and Jeep® vehicle and parts warranties are voided if the
vehicle or parts are used for competition. The addition of performance parts
does not by itself void a vehicle’s warranty. However, added performance
parts (parts not originally supplied on the vehicle from the factory) are not
covered by the vehicle’s warranty, and any failure that they may cause is
also not covered by the vehicle’s warranty."
