i just had a question regarding my 05 srt-4.it runs perfect but theres a time im hearing a tiny vibrating whisltle that goes away in a second and comes back everytime the engine at low rpm or have you tried to lift up your clutch alittle in first gear without putting a gas just enough to vibrate your engine alittle and also sometimes when your engine is turning off.i dont know if its just normal.help guys

i know how turbo whistle sounds like and this one is different.just try on first gear,lift up your clutch till you fill your engine stalls see if you hear a vibrating whistle sound.i cant really described the sound it but i know it sounds like a metal rubbing metal because of the engines vibration.just let me know if you also find out that out in your car also so i could assume that was just normal.ty

 

I can't tell you exactlly where it is comming from but all cars will do this. when the car is about to stall it will open up to let more air into the motor, since it can't open the butterfly in the TB. Its normal at low RPMs.
