Well she already has the kicker system and if I changed out her headunit she would loose that 6+1 in dash CD changer. She is actually pretty happy with the stereo except that it does not really have enough base. That kicker sub is not great for most music, but I am not sure if you can just replace it with say 2 10' subs...

 

The factory amp for the sub is probably fairly weak and adding other subs most likely wouldn't help unless you got another amp for it.

 

I'm running 225/40R-18s on my car with absolutely no problem....except for when i have the window open and im turning a corner through a puddle, and i get splashed in the face.

I'd say get stage 1, your usually safest with that one, though all are off-road use only.

I had a K&N on my stratus coupe, I loved it. I have the AEM shortie now.

Upgrading the stereo isnt a bad idea either. Be sneaky, bring up cars and ask her what shed like to do to hers next.

 

Go to dealer she bought car from or has serviced by. They will tell you what they consider allowed under warranty, then after talk to them have them type it up read though it and you both sign it.

My dealership will allow me to get Stage 2. I'm not sure if I want to get it yet, but it is an option.

 

If thats what you wanted to do they sell an adapter that picks up off the speaker outputs, so you can keep everything that you have and just add some more subs. All you would need is an amp, speakers, the adapter($20), and run the wires to the trunk.

The kicker stereo is pretty good but i replace the speakers with alpine type r speakers and it did make a huge difference. ALso the kicker sub will put out good bass, u just really have to break it in first.

 

That they do, I replaced all of mine with Alpine Type S. They only make the 3 1/2" dash speakers in the Typs S, so I went with Type S all around.

 

Well if she like to racer, go with either stages. if she to style, go with Rims, I.C.E, or Monitors
