it's not really about what fits; and you only need a turbo timer if you dont want to sit in your car while it idles for 2-3 mins when you're done driving. the turbo timer allows for your car to stay on for a small period of time with the key out of the ignition so you dont have to do the waiting thing. driving hard or not, the oil will heat up and when done needs to cool down a little bit while going through the turbocharger. however harder driving does cause for hotter oil......anywho i have a GReddy Timer its about 3'x2'x1'. ive seem some apexi and others that look like small MP3 players or flash drives(usually cheaper in price).

Actually, the only time the car needs a few minutes to cool, is when it has been driven real hard.

If you have been driving casually, 30 seconds is plenty. Even if you drive it hard, go easy for the last couple of miles on your way home, to let most of the cooling take care of itself, you shouldn't need that much time. If you race it, 5 minutes or more is a good idea, but tt's generally aren't needed, you will have plenty of time at the track to let it idle.

30 seconds would be fine for 2000 rpm shifts, probally could just shut it off.

heh. - 2000 rpm shifts? Miss daisy drove faster. Personally, I would consider 3300 or so normal/conservative.
