Default Some minor issues. Few questions.

So yesterday i bought a 2004 SRT-4 with 76k miles. It has a couple problems i wanted to ask you SRT-4 guys about. First is the E brake. When i park the car and pull the E brake.. it still rolls backward. I'm having to keep it in 1st gear to keep it from rolling (i know that's preferred anyways). Can my E brake be broken? Also.. I got a 1 year warranty but it doesn't cover wear and tear. My brakes are working terrible though.. and i assume if i just bought it 1 day ago.. tomorrow they would fix it anyways since it JUST got sold to me. I also have an engine noise.. that sounds like it's coming from the radiator or something.. that wouldn't be an issue though because that's covered with warranty. Any thoughts guys? I'm loving this car a ton.. but all of the dingy engine noises and stuff bother me. Like the car is a beast... but i'm not confident in it yet because it makes all kinds of noises. Is this normal? Like when i rev it.. my car shakes a little... I'm used to Civics and stuff... so it could be just the power of the engine? I was thinking my motor mounts were bad.. but if they were I'm sure I'd know it by now with all the hard driving I've been doing. Btw i got a WRX kill last night, reppin the SRT-4. He pulled up next to me and revved. As expected.. he took me by 1-2 car lengths off the line.. but in second gear i caught up to him easily. We both had cold air intake and catback exhaust.

yea the parking brake is very common to come loose. you just have to take out the center consol plastic piece and look under it to find the adjustment on the cable. have the dealership you got it from do the work. that is something that should have been done before they sold the car. park it and show them you can still push the car with the ebrake on. the engine is very noisy in general i wouldnt be able to tell you anything for sure unless i heard it too. my suggestion is to find another srt-4 probly at a dealership easiest way to find one and listen to that one and see if they sound close to the same. im on my second srt-4 and when i got my first one it was new so i figured the wierd engine noises were normal then when i got my second one and it made the same noises i wasnt worried at all any more the engine has kind of a rough idle and the car might vibrate more than normal if the first owner had put in motor mount inserts. i have them in my car they are great no wheel hop but you do notice the engine vibrations more. and im sure you need new brake pads. these cars stop on a dime with little effort so if yours is havin trouble stopping change the pads. its cheap easy and you will have the peace of mind knowing your car will stop when you need it to

Thanks you rock. Ok so they fixed my E brake (they have to by law) and the slapped on a new tire. I guess one of my tires was 1 inch shorter because it was a temp (could explain my braking because now it seems improved). I just gotta get that annoying noise taken care of at a Dodge dealership Friday. They think some engine bearing is loose.. so it's making a loud noise. Also... i repped the srt-4 guys last night. WRX tried to race me.. as expected I'm not used to launching this yet.. so he took me off the line by 2 cars.. but in 2nd gear i blew passed him. Then a C5 2005 Corvette revved next to me.. and i smoked him ; x. This car is seriously amazing, I love it! If i never boost and keep rpm's low it seems i get great gas mileage haha.. but if i boost I'll notice i can burn a quarter tank in like 10 mins. Btw i got lucky. Owner before me installed a Cold air intake, aftermarket ignition and a Catback exhaust. So probably upped my power a little. Oh and nice red and chrome rims.. that make my red car look good.
