Something like the Trans AM. It should have two separate big scoops and paths. One to run back to the turbo to cool it and one to run over the air box to do the hood mod with the hole all ready there with the gasket. This way you won't suck in the hot air from the turbo when you're not moving. One other thing have it made in CF and fiberglass for cheap people.

well i think a hood like a trans am would be to aggresive for that car,the neon is to bubbley for scoops like that i dont think it would look right. What about a cowl hood?if anyone is good with phot shop post some pix of a hood you would liek to see made, btw the hood would be done in c.f or fiberglass.

I think you should give the stock a larger opening and redesign the underside to accomodate both after market short ram intakes and better cooling for the turbo. Of course you would also have to design it around the rainy season. Last thing you want is to suck in water.

A design that also sucks in air through the "nostrils" of the front of the car. Every little bit of cooling helps.

I know what you are saying but I'm not saying make a copy cat hood but something like it but more rounded like ours. Have the bulge(SP?) a little bigger with a little indention smoothed out between the intakes. Have the two openings about half the size of the two top ones in the bumper. I will try to get something drawn up but keep in mind I not a potochopper at all, so the key word here is try.

I'd like to see a hood kinda like the Ram SRT/10, or a hood like the competition coupe viper with the gills going horizontally across the hood.

If made of high quality and the functions that I said in the $600's for CF I think it would, and $400-$500 for fiberglass. The hard part is going to be the pluming of the hood.
