stupid acr, im trying to order a 05 srt-4 in the competition group package but no silver why?
has anyone gotten the car in silver with the competition package?

kit includes:
16" x 7.0" Aluminum Wheels
225/45R16 Black Side Wall Performance Tires
"ACR" Badge
Competition Suspension
Non-Matching Spare Tire

why no 17"?
can someone tell why this package is good or bad?

It's a bran new package, that only comes in white.

I would have to say, that the 16 inch wheels are for better handling.......

Other than that, it sounds sweet to me....

 

Not to mention the competition handling package. The 16s will be lighter then the 17s that comes on the non-ACR models. It should be amazing in the corners....right from the factory.

 

the only colors u cant get it in are blue and silver.

 

To me the 16" rims are hideous. I believe their BBS, or BBS styled rims. You won't find Silver after 2005 1/2 models. They ditched the silver for the Stone White. It also comes in Orange Blast, as I've seen an ACR in the OB color.

I don't like the looks of the ACR personally. But I think its great that they beefed up the suspension and finally put some more tire on the road (instead of the stock 205) to grip with. They should have come with 225s stock, the hold on the pavement is much better than with my stock 205s. I also like that they made the rim a 16x7 instead of a 17x6. I bumped up to an 18x8 just because a 6" rim is far too narrow for my likings.

The spare tire was always non-matching. I think mines like a 135 or something insane like that. I don't even carry it in the car. But if you like white or orange blast, its for you.

Here's some pictures of the ACR's. Decide for yourself if you like the wheels or not. But other than that the suspension/tire upgrades kick ***.

okay so other then the small rims and acr logo. what would it cost to add the suspension that is equar or better then the acr package to a silver 05. i just drove my first srt-4 today so new to this, sorry for the stupid questions.

i believe the ACR edition comes with the Mopar stage 3 coilovers as the suspension. You can purchase it at modernperformance.com for $1349.99

I agree, the ACR badges look like a$$, but I have always loved the BBS wheels, especially the LeMans style, but they should be 17 X 7 and not 16 X 7.

 

DUDE... Those things have a NASTY wheel gap.. Its like 4 inches !!! [sm=wtf.gif]

 

Yep, that's why they need those wheels in 17's and not the 16's it does get.
