hi everyone so i have a problem when i drive my car for about an hour or so my car starts to get crazy every gear works perfect except 4th, when i shift into 4th the car starts to bog out and i am going about 45-50mph and the boost gauge is boosting 10psi and im not moving and the car wont go any faster and if i push the gas a little more the car starts bucking like its about to die out and wont go over 2500 rpms and none of this ever happened till i put in my new throttle body but the crazy thing is that it only does that when i drive for a long time and it ONLY happends in 4th. i did the usual check for leakes, and the hoses ect..... and everything is normal no cel that isnt unusual for my car but yeah it only started happening after installing my new throttle body. thanks to who ever can help me i realy appriciate it, Aloha

 

holly **** now things have gotten even worse for me now the car is doning all the things i explained in the top in every gear it is like the car dies out then starts up again in everygear and you cant even drive it and i have no idea what is going on if any one out there can help or if anyone has any ideas as to what i could do to try and fix it i would appriciate it a lot thanks for all the help

 

now on top of everything else my car wont even start when i turn the key the word fuse keeps blinking and the car wont start. so i looked in my fuse box and it didnt look like any of them were blowen out and i mad sure they were all in tight and nothing worked is there anyone out there that can help me im getting mad cause all of a sudden all this stuff happends

 

at least try resetting the computer by leaving the battery unhooked for at least 60 seconds this always helped my check engine light. other than that i dunno this forum is kinda dead i think there are more people on srtforum. try putting the stock throttle body back on and see if that fixes it. you could have a defective aftermarket throttle body. just ideas

 

Does the butterfly open freely when you turn in manually?
Quite possible that one of the 2 sensors got messed up. My suggestion is to swap it back with the stocker and see if it still happens. If it does, then you know it isnt the TB itself.
Heres something to check though, on the other TB sensor (the wording will come to me in a sec) there is an 0-ring gasket that NEEDS to be installed. First time I did a TB swap, I dropped this ring without even realizing it and the car acted really funny.

 

yeah i would try to reinstall the stockTB but then now my car is dead now cause of something the lights wont even turn on , i think one of the fuses are bad and it shorted me car but i have no clue as to what is going on

 

This sounds simple, but have you checked your battery?

 

try tossing the car, and buying something that doesnt suck

 

okay, so I have had a similar situation and this is what fixed my issue. ready? check your grounds for corrosion. My ground effected was the one to the engine on the top side by the passenger side strut tower. I know you may not think it would do that but a effected ground will shut you down completely. You can pick it up at your local autozone for a few bucks and be rolling again in SRT-4 style!
