Default Best Spark Plug & Basic Tune

So after using google and reading the sticky's I am surpirsed to come up dry with an answer to my question. I have a stock 05 SRT-4 and I don't beat on it daily but when I do drive it hard I want it to go and am just looking for a good reasonable priced set of spark plugs. If they were pre-gapped that'd be great but I know that probably won't happen. I've looked at the NGK Iridium and the Denso Iridium based on the chart at sparkplugs.com and have seen some people saying to use colder plugs, be careful when gapping not to break the plug... I just want a good easy plug and if I do have to gap what I should gap it at?

Also i'm replacing the air filter, do I have to get an OEM filter or will some Napa filter work just fine? Thanks guys.

NGK 4306. Autozone has them for couple bucks a piece. Best you can get for stock turbo. Gap them at about .035

NGK iridiums have been working and pulling great for me! That's what I would recommend, even though your gonna spend a little more for them, but it's worth the performance.

Ive used several. stockers and iridiums. The iridiums dont make anymore power but seem to last well and did seem to help with low speed missing and popping a little. The autolite iridiums have been for me, cheaper and more available. On a stock plug, I close the gaps down to no more than .040. I am on my second set of stock plug wires at 55,000 as the oems took a crap in a big way at about 40,000. I hear, good plug wires may be a better upgrade than any plug change and what I have experienced seems to bear that out. It should be noted that I have also had an aftermarket heat shield for the plug wires since almost day one.
