Default insurance costs?

I'm saving up money so I can by an 04' SRT-4 at beginning of my senior year 18 months from now. I'll be 18, what's ins. rates like for teens with a clean record(hopefully). I should have most of the available discounts (good student)

I am 27, with one ticket and I got quoted at $400 a month. There have been a few threads on this topic, and that is the concensus. Although I would expect yours to be a little higher considering your age. Call an insurance agent and get a quote.

i'm 27...5 or 6 tickets in the past yrs, my insurance is around 190/mo, yours will probably be higher. what you could do is call around and see if a few companies can give you a free rate quote.

Go online to like Progressive or Geico and use their online calculators. It may help to have a vehicle vin number, but you can grab that off of the model and type of car you want from say autotrader.com or yahoo autos.

if possible, try and have either your mother or father listed as the primary driver-it would definitely be cheaper. Im 18 too, and with my mother listed as the primary driver, I pay 3600 a year...

it is greatly dependant on where you live. you don't say where that is, so we can't really help that much.

just call up some insurance companies and get quotes. it's free and doesn't take too long.

I just got an insurance offer from Dodge thru AIG insurance. Right now I have Allstate. I pay $190.00 a month for the SRT, a Toyota Tacoma, and a Stratus RT coupe. I have no tickets, my wife collects them! We are both 38 years old. Looking at what all you folks are paying, maby I shouldn't complain.

My insurance is 344.00 a month with Nationwide in Rhode Island. One ticket 1-10mph over, one not-at-fault accident (rear ended by a drunk driver), one at-fault accident (one car accident = automatically at fault). My payment is 381.03...... 20y/o female on her own policy.
