i heard a chirping sound and its not really loud.i noticed that i heard the chirping sound when i felt the engine vibrate and also when you engage the clutch and lift it up alittle bit without gas and also when the engine shut off you will hear it.i dont know if its the motor mount since you hear the sound as the engine vibrate and it get worse when the engine vibrates more.i dont know if its normal in every srt-4.i can tell that this is not a vacuum leak and you cant really hear it when your outside but if you really did in purpose to engage and lift up the clutch without gas just to make the engine vibrate you will hear it even outside..have any of you guys encounter that?

 

No, no bird sounds from my SRT-4......I miss my SRT-4, hopefully the bodyshop folks will finish up soon. The Ram 1500 I rented is a sweet ride, but the gas mileage isn't!!!!

Go by your dealer and explain your problem. Be firm, but friendly. Take notes, names, times. Many dealers follow-up on their service work via the internet and if you have a problem, this will help pinpoint it.....

 

I have a chirping sound when I'm warming my car up. I think I just need the spray for my belts.

It sounds like you are talking about sounds below idle, just keep the car at idle or above and there won't be a problem.

 

posible loose belts.just my 2 cents.
