What to do after stage 1
Last week i installed stage 1, mopar exhaust, and a k&n CAI. That was a nice little boost. I was wondering what i could do next to add more power. Someone told me to add a boost controller. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Price range $500.
I have the mopar exhaust also. I'm gonna go with the Maxxfab 3in O2 housing and 3in downpipe w/cat. It is $405 for both and adds another 15 hp. I would also recommend getting hardpipes.

JMB is all custom, plus they do powdercoating. It is all top of the line. Let me know what you think.

Biggest bang for the buck would be a boost controller next. You dont need to buy one either, it is very easy to make. With stage one, I would recomend no more than 15-16 psi with good gas. You will see much better part throttle response, and a nice kick when it hits on the boost. Just don't go nuts and try to get 18 or 20 psi out of it. The biggest improvement with this will be how quick the boost comes on. Good luck.
get a new waste-gate and boost controller you can run 17 psi safely with stage one. you may want to get a dual stage boost controler such as the Turbo xs dsbc or electric boost controller such as the profec b II boost controller. without a aftermarket wastegate, it will cause alot spikes and you wont be able to hold as much boost. the stock wastegate only has a 4lb spring. a good down pipe such as the maxx fab which has already been metioned to go with the borla Exhaust. New upper and lower pipes would be good also. It just depends on what you want.

Hey there Dolem20.......I may have confused you in that reply, I do have a boost controller, but I made one from an air pressure regulator for an air tool. Got-Boost is correct in stating that you will get boost spikes, and putting an adjustible waste gate would be more effective at maintaining a consistent boost level. With my air bleed system, I will spike to 17 psi, but by the time I get to 5000 rpm or more, it levels out to about thirteen. In my preference, I like the spike because it really gives you a good jump when you first hit the gas, and I feel safer at thirteen reving high. Good luck.
