is there any difference between these two years...and if so what are they and how do they affect the car

 

I don't think there is any difference between the two years.

 

Same stuff for both years except for option choices like color, etc.....

 

what year did they introduce the limited slip?

 

2004 was the first year for the LSD....

 

oh cuz i heard it was harder to mess with the pcm.

 

I haven't heard of anyone "messing" with the PCM. If you mean replacing it with a Stage 1 pcm, the 04 and 05 models only require a new pcm. The 03 models also require new (larger) fuel injectors for a Stage 1 upgrade. The 04 and 05 models have the larger injectors installed at the factory.

 

There may be some programming differences between the two years, but the power output is still the same.

 

i haven't heard of any differance between 04 and 05 just what iv'e heard.

 

The only really differences are minor.. Like the the trim around the boost gage is different and the stereo is set a lil different. Other than that I don't know any others.
