Stage 3 or New Turbo from elsehwere?
I am fortunate enough to be in a business where I can get a lot of things for my car at a good price. I could get the Stage 3 kit (with toys) for a couple hundred off retail. Also, I can get a lot of other parts at a discount, which puts me smack dab in the middle of a dilemma. Do I go stage 3 or buy a new turbo and manifold from someone else and put on a piggyback fuel system? Does anyone have any experience with both? Are the "other than mopar" systems as reliable? I drive this instead of my truck for the mileage it gets, and I dont want to make it unreliable, or any more likely to leave me walking. Experience would be helpful here, and I am willing to listen. Also, how fast is Stage 2. 1/4 mile time wise. I may just stay there, if I can add a few parts and get into the 12's. HELP!!!

with S3 the 350 is at the crank i have a friend with it and he was running race gas and put down 332hp. id be pissed if i spend all that money and thats the best i could do.. he has a lot of other mods as well.

stage kits dyno like crap, everyone knows that. personally i don't really care to be a dyno queen, i'd rather have a car running 11's and putting out 350hp than a 500hp car running mid 12's.
fyi - this past weekend was the srt nationals. there were quite a few big turbo cars there as well as some mopar cars. the fastest car of the meet? the s3 lightweight car. the fastest car on the autox? the stock acr. go mopar!
