Cleaned Up the SRT-4
As long as we're on the topic of cleaning, does anyone have any suggestions on a detergent to remove wax. I have some vinyl eyelids on order and it says in the directions to remove the wax before applying. Will soap and water do, or should I use something a bit stronger?
There are "cleaners" available for wax removal. Just check the cleaning supplies section of your local autozone/pepboys/Advanced auto, etc.
Red is an extremely hard color to match, especially on the bumpers of the srt-4s. If you look closely on the red ones, compared to the body the bumpers almost never match.
Oh and the tire shine. Body shops cant have silicone based products in them for reasons being that the new paint could get fish-eyes if the silcone based product were to go airborne. And if it gets into your downdraft system...ohhh **** are you screwed. That would've been why the tire shine was so ****ty. If it got on your new paint, and had silicone in it, the whole paint job wouldve been ruined (had it not been cured yet).
Dusty the car looks awesome!!! What happened?[sm=smiley18.gif]
