Glad to be back:[sm=lildevil.gif]

Just as an update, i checked the wastegate and the Scribe acutator is flushed with the canister. i re-checked the instructrtion, as well as yours, but the arm doesnt wanna pull off and the Scribe is still flushed. i tried swiveling the arm, but no results. any other angles you suggest. Cause if i damage this one, i still have the factory wastegate till i ordere an AGP one.

Thnx

Don't swivel the arm.

First re-attach the arm at the top of the manifold, put the cotterpin in, then re-attach the wga with the 2 12mm bolts and that will preload it - ieull it out. It should pull out 3mm to 4mm when everything is re-attached. Remove and adjust the arm to achieve the desired pre-load. When The desired preload is set, tighten the 13mm locknut on the arm and test drive. Just want to make sure this is what you are doing. You can't preload the arm un-attached.
Note: It is a good idea to pull the neg. while doing this work, and gradually get on it to let the computer re-calibrate as you start to drive.

Well i adjusted the the wastegate to 3mm then 4mm, Post (or whoever can assist) and im hitting 12psi bleeding off @ 10psi. Now the weather here is on the mid to upper 60's but, i should at least have better boost? Or is it the the PA (Pressure Altitude)/Altimeter) is still dense?
Or do i need a new wastegate

thnx

hmmph... too bad that didn't do it. I might try with some othe settings than 3 or 4mm, they have varied a bit. Also - you unhooked the battery and let the ecu re-learn, right? Other than that - possibly the wga is bad. I wonder if there could be a reason your engine could be pulling timing.

leak test the car. you probably have a big old boost leak somewhere killing you.

try setting the wga to 5mm and reset the ecu after checking for leaks.
