HELP!!! I'm still stock, and im having problems with the boost leaking. (well thats what i think is happening anyway) when i give it gas (sometimes) i feel like im running into a brick wall! The boost doesnt increase, and its really sluggish! Like i said im stock havent touched anything yet but dont know why this would b happening??? Any suggestions? [:@]

Depends how many miles for the plugs and wires, usually it feels like its vibrating on acell when the wires are bad. I notice on light acell, sometimes the boost gauge will start to rise out of vacuum, and then it hits a flat spot for a sceond or two. My cold air intake seemed to aggrivate the condition, but it is definitely more prevalant while the car is warming up. If you push down more on the gas, you can drive through it......if it is the same thing I experience with my car. If so, don't worry about it........I hardly ever notice it now.

 

my stock plugs and wires went at 2500 miles or so. it does vary, but they don't usually last long.

my msd wires right now are bad, i've got a new set of high temp denso's to put in. how do i know that they are bad? when i floor it and go into boost, the car falls on its face. just like i hit a wall or something. it pulls like mad, and then bam....i'm thrown forward when the car just stops accelerating. we opened the hood and floored it, and wouldn't you know that the wires are sparking to the strut tower brace.

 

I know this may sound unbelievable, but my wires and plugs are still good, 10,500 miles! I have a late build car with the 90 degree boot for cyl 4. Never had a problem with them....yet.

 

What about that sensor on the throttle body hose coming off? I think it was Dusty who had that problem.

 

tps sensor. that causes a different set of symptoms

 

Take it to the dealer and have it checked out!
