So long my friends.
Hey everyone, I reqretfully have to report that I no longer own my SRT4. I just traded it for a Legacy GT AWD Turbo. (which by the way, is pretty quick)
After the winter we had last year, I needed to get my wife into something AWD, and I HATE SUV's!!!!! So we compromised and got the Subie. She commutes thirty miles to work, and her Stratus Coupe was terrible in the snow. SO, I traded the Stratus and the SRT for the Legacy. I had to because the freakin Subarus are expensive. Any way, I enjoyed exchanging information with all of you people, and will miss being part of the "gang"if you will.
Now the good news.....since I am trading it, I am pulling all of my "stuff" off and selling it seperate. Tomorrow I'll post in the classified section everything I have......Stage 1, 18" wheels, and lots more. So check it out, if your interested in anything, I'll save you some money.
Good luck everyone and be safe.
Paul.

sorry to hear that you've left the family, but the legacy is a nice car.
btw - i've got people looking for a stage 1. if you don't mind, i'd like to put first dibs on it for one of them.

I knew it was coming, for awhile now. As long as everything works out, its good. Whatever is best for you. I'll miss Skittle, and it'll probably be hard seeing him on the lot and having some idiotic kid buying it and tooling around, but in the long run everything happens (and is done) for a reason.Sorry to see you go (from DF), but Ill still see you around. Good luck with the Legacy, hopefully you wont catch anyone in anymore snowbanks....
Sorry to hear your not going to be on here - good luck with the Subie - it's a nice car, too. At least you still have the Yamaha, Right. That ought to keep you happy in the thrill dept.
Oh jeez yes, the Yamaha will light my hair on fire when I need to. I just re-jetted the carbs and a 4 in to 2 in to 1 header. There goes my hair!!!
I was teasing my wife last night, "your driving a lesbaru". She was not amused to say the least. (please, I mean no offense to anyone with that).
I already have plans for a boost controller for the thing. She's yelling at me "leave the damn thing alone!!!". My daughter (nine years old) was in love with the SRT. She asked me if the new car had a "boosta gauge"...LOL. She asked if I could buy her one to keep in her room for memories. How can you say no to that!
I can't help it, I have to play. You all know what I mean. I was looking at the specs in speed magazine, they ran a 14.1 quarter with the one they tested. I am sure I can knock a tenth or two off of that.
I drove the SRT in this morning, I am going to miss that little beast. I tried picking up one last race with some guy in a Saab 9/5.....he didn't bite. Hey, I work for a Dodge dealer, so I can still drive whatever screamer they come out with from time to time. Also, if anyone ever needs any info.....don't hesitate to contact me.

Sorry to hear about your loss, but to lose two for one just plain sucks rocks. I would have went for the WRX since it is kinda close to the SRT-4's performance and has tons of aftermarket parts out there for it. That's just too, too bad.[&o]
