i have the greddy type rs. i had the type s and upgraded when i got stage 3.

i went with the greddy because i don't like the others. the hks sounds horrible, i couldn't live with driving like that on a daily basis. the turbo xs bov's are all POS and you couldn't pay me to put one on my car. the mopar blue plate is a boost leak. so, the greddy was the bov of choice for me. i went with the rs because it will hold more boost than the s will, and i need that at this point.

like i said live and learn. people say they dont like HKS cuz they sound like a seagull.. well the greddy's sound like a squeaky toy for a dog. each to his own tho! i like hks beacuse of the reliabilty but personaly the best sounding BOV is the Blitz in my opion and HKS SS sound changes when you have more psi running thru it tho and you can get the inserts.

the type rs does not sound like the s. it doesn't squeek like the s does. i think it's a much better sounding bov overall....

PSI, with the upgrades that I have will the RS work alright, I am ordering the Stage 1 next week. I am looking for a better sound and I am eventually like to have the stage 3.

Basically will the Greddy RS work for what I have right now?

it will work, you'll just have to have it a little looser than if you had a larger turbo, that's all. when you do eventually get s3, just readjust the bov.

Yes the HKS is incredibly obnoxious. I most certaintly couldnt drive with it on a daily basis either.

My friend got the Greddy Type S with the JMB UPP powdercoated black with blue couplings. Sorry for the confusion on that one, but he likes it. Again, he has no need for it because hes running the stock turbo, so I don't see the purpose. But to each his own, and if you are planning to get S3, then I can see your desire for an upgraded BOV.

IMO the HKS SSQ is the way to go, i don't find the high-pitched sound annoying at all, and personally think it sounds awesome having that high pitched noise go off in contrast to the SRT-4's throaty exhaust...
