What are the best plugs and wires
I have the MSD wires and they've been great, the only problem I've had is some rodent chewing on them during the winter. I also have the MSD coil, but that is just because I had it on my '99 R/T and took it off before I sold it since they use the same exact coil. I have had this coil in use now for a few years and it's been flawless. There isn't any point in getting the MSD coil since it has the same output as the stock coil. I'm still using the stock Champion spark plugs and will continue to as I do with all my cars.
on the topic of spark plugs, how many heat ranges does every one drop. on my 88 CSX-T ( turbo dodge shadow ) I drop three heat ranges. Stock pluges are RN12YC, I run RN9YC. I do this because I run 20 psi on pump gas (93). just want to know if everyone is running colder plugs in the SRT-4.

I've talked with our DCX account on this very topic not too long ago actually... they did testing on Stage'd SRT's... and came to this conclusion... if you need more information, PM me... I'll see what I can find out...
This or similar would have been one of my next questions. I have seen so many peoples cars listed as having aftermarket coils & wires I was wondering if there was a problem with the stocker. It appears by the replies here that stock is good if you're not too boosted. That makes sense. I do wonder how much power increase is too be had by upgrading the ignition on an otherwise stock engine? If nothing else, better gas mileage is always welcome.

so the srt-4 don't have an issue with incresed knock counts and or detanation with high boost on pump gas with stock plug heat range!?

again, this is assuming your car is only Stage 0, 1, or 2. Stage 3 performs better with a Heat Range 6... other high boost mods may require a 6 (NGK)... I don't know the Champion heat range rating off the top of my head... but always go to a "colder" plug...
