My car was totaled. I was rearended, IN MY PARKING LOT, it pushed my trunk nearly up to by back seats, warped my entire car so none of the doors will open or shut. The roof of my car is wrinkled, but somehow my rear glass is still intact. My exaust is laying on the ground, and to add insult to injury my stage 2 got here today, which is obviously useless with my totaled car's VIN programmed in it. I'll just have to send it back to be reflashed for my next SRT-4.
As far as injuries I have strained muscles in my back and neck. It hurts but is not severe thank god. The insurance company was supposed to be here monday to look at the car and investigate it or something, well they never showed.. so I called and was given an appoligy and was told they were supposed to been here while I was at work today. Tomorrow I will be calling the insurance company to find out if they even showed and if not to give them a bitching, removing my hood and CAI and returing the car back to stock before I MAKE them pay off my car, so I can go purchase the stone white ACR they have on the lot down the street. I'll post pics later I just can't bring myself to look at them right now.

 

what happened? sorry to hear about the car, but at least you're ok. have you been checked out by a doctor?

 

I backed out of my parking space (still in my parking lot), put it in 1st, still sitting there I reached to grab my glasses out of the door pocket thing, and bam I was sent skidding off 20'
She was ticketed for speeding, and put in the police report she wasn't paying attention. Apparently since she didn't honk, or even hit her breaks, just mowed me over.

Ya I was checked out by the doctor, he was the one that informed my I had strained muscles.

Wow. Just wow. I am speechless. I just drove in to the City and did my daily observation of all the idiot drivers. These bad drivers never cease to amaze me. They should definitely make the license tests harder.

I am really sorry about your accident. I hope they take her license and get her off the road. Were you full tort insured? If so maybe you can sue the hell out of her.

Hopefully - you aren't hurt more than temporarily, and you will get an ACR out of it. Not that the experienec was worth it. Here's to better luck with crappy drivers in the future.

Just make sure the insurance company gives you the amount that your car is workth!
You gotta watch those insurance companies... (Im an insurance agent)
At least you might get the ACR, I think I would cry if that happend to me, I love my car too much!

Sorry to hear dude. You better make sure you're ok. I'm semi-old now (40) and I'm here to tell ya some of this crap will come back to haunt ya. You better get x-rays if you didn't already and keep all your documents. Years from now you'll wake up in the morning and you'll remember this. Trust me.

 

Give me what my car is worth? it blue books for like 17k right now.. but I still owe like 19k on it.. so because some idiot driver hit me and totaled my car I have to pay $2,000? BS. If they do not pay every penny, they will see me in court also looking for compensation for physical damages.
