So whats the deal, any talks about AWD for the badass Neon SRT????

 

Welcome to DF. There is a possibility of an AWD SRT Neon when they switch the Neon's to the Mitsubishi Lancer frame for '06. However, the redesigned Neon is to be Hyundai powered and the SRT-4 is a limited production model that will probably end with the switch to the Lancer frame. Next years SRT-4 will probably be the last year for it.

That's crap about the SRT-4 ending, and Hyundai powred? WTF? Why? [:@] I'm not trashing Hyundai or Mitsubishi but if it's going to be a Lancer with a Hyundai engine then why even bother calling it a Dodge?

Blame the "global economy"...our leaders have got us to the point where manufacturing jobs are being outsourced to foreign countries faster than jobs can be created here in the USA. I was working dispatch at the police station a few days ago and I got a call from a credit agency checking on one of our officers. Guess where they were calling from? Would you believe INDIA???!!!

I can't begin to count how many items in my home are made in China, Japan, Mexico, or Canada. Heck, even my police whistle is made in England![:'(]

 

I've heard of that (Indian telephone operators). I think they should give everyone in this country a job first.

 

Your 100% correct. I would rather pay a few bucks extra for stuff made here in the US by Americans with American made parts.

Thats why I wish that I could buy Chrysler Corp. back and be in control of it. I would end all outside connections. Then every vehicle would be made 100% USA. All the workers, plants, parts, suppliers and even the raw materials(steel, alumnium, plastics, etc.) would have to be from the good 'ol USA.[sm=smiley14.gif][sm=smiley2.gif]

 

Yeah seriously, sometimes it seems like our government cares more about other countries than it's own.

 

Don't even get me started on that frickin' subject.[sm=smiley7.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]That stuff along with paying for everything that every immigrant(not all but most) gets and wants as well as not having to pay any taxes for 7 years on anything.[sm=smiley7.gif]Use my money to help those that are already here and not those that can afford to move here from another country.
