Default Only 6 to 8 PSI

I have a problem that I an trying to figure out. I have a 04 SRT4. THe mod list: Stage 3 kit, Confirmed fll kit with toys and st3 PCM, fuel rail, and turbo. Mopar Waste stage3 wastegate. Straight Pipe exhuast, INjen SRI.
THe car boost strong upto 8PSI even with the toys turned up to 3. I run around 20hg on vac at idle. If I unhook the vac line from the Wastegate I am able to get full boost around 20psi. So my question: Could this be a bad wastegate, wg soleniod, or whatelse could be causing it? any ideas? And if i press the Peak button on the boost gauge it goes upto 24 PSI,

Wastegate or boost leaks. I would also check to make sure the vaccum lines are hooked up correctly.

But since you unplugged the vaccum line then it could be your wastegate. Do you have a friend with a AGP stage 3 wastegate or stock stage 3 wastegate to switch with and test it out?

This is true. I would make sure all the vacuum lines are correct. But since you are holding boost without the vacuum line. It could be your wastegate. I would say boost leaks but you are holding 20psi with the vacuum line unplugged but I wouldnt leave it unplugged. Sucks you dont have a wastegate to test with.

Yea tell me about it, So i just did it again. Last time I did this test it was on a short road and only got through into 2nd before shifting. This time I unplugged the line and took off down the Interstate during lunch. I am holding 26psi through every gear to redline (except 5th) didnt try that 1. This was with the vac line disconnected from the wastegate. I don't know if I am ready for that everyday.

I am wondering if this could be a issue with turbo toys. If so is there a way to bypass the toys

Turns out the problem was with the Wastegate Solenoid being bad. Got a new 1 this morning and now I am pushing the full boost. Thanks all for the help.
