I would check the condition of the hydraulic fluid too. This should be changed and bled when the brakes are done.
My buddy's SRT fluid looked like molasses when he finally changed his and afterwards shifting became easier. We didn't have to adjust the linkage to the CMC.
Side note: At least check the fluid level and for leaks.

One thing on an acr never change the suspension or wheels thats the whole part of being an acr are the tokiko struts and 16inch bbs awesome wheels and the seats are awesome also never change those out. Modern is awesome for parts. Also ebay is a nice place to find parts and a great price.
