whats the point of having an indash dvd if you cant watch it bypass it would ya. take the ground wire and the power wire and twist em together that way they see a power signal and instead of it bieng the break you can watch it, or if that doesnt work attack it to a switch instead of the e brake, trust me it make long trips that much more enjoyable and its not to distracting. try it let me know what you think.

PS Your ride looks pretty pimpin nice job with it so far!!!

I think whoosh has a point there.

My shifter's always been kinda sticky in third.....so I ordered the Mopar STS Question: do the booger bushing really make that big of a difference? I.e. should I order them or no?
order with the bushings... it's firmer to me... it's not a huge price difference either if I recall... go big or go home

how many bulbs did you have to order for your dash "kit"... I don't have my car torn apart in front of me

Alrightie! Lol Wow lots of posts here.

Okay lets get to the replies:

DASH KIT:
6 194 LEDS for the Instrument Cluster, 1 194 LED for the boost gauge, 3 194 LEDS for the HVAC (which i havent done yet)

Instrument Cluster
4 5-LED Wide Angle Blue Bulbs (for the bottom four positions)
2 5-LED Inverted Blue Bulbs (for the top two positions)

Boost Gauge:
1 5-LED Wide Angle Blue Bulb (and yes with the wide angle you can still see the needle at night)

HVAC:
2 5-LED Wide Angle Blue Bulbs
1 5-LED Red/Blue Bulb (for the hot/cold AC ****)

I got my LEDS from www.SuperBrightLEDS.com. Ive ordered from them probably 5 times in the past. And as for autolumination im not too sure if they have the bulbs in stock due to the fact that SRTForums had an immense group buy on them and bought them out. Plus superbrightleds.com is cheaper than autolumination. I paid twenty-something bucks for everything.

American_Muscle: The Stage ? piece is made by GOTPSI and FASPNY from SRTForums. I was part of the first buy where he made 20 of them. Im not too sure how many hes selling now, since there were quite a few people interested. And no, no CAI, but I do have the AEM Short Ram. A CAI in the winter in New England just isn't feasible.

I do plan on changing the parking brake wire of the DVD player, but thats only so that when I have my 5 year old brother with me, I have something to keep him entertained. He loves riding in my "neon" so now he'll like it even more. And yes it is dangerous to watch a movie and drive at the same time. But having it so that its only on when the brake is engaged works just fine for me.

PSIChick: I'm still weary on the performance mods since my accident. Ask anyone who knows me and I drive wicked slow. I took my friends 02 Vette out for a ride the other day and was cruising along at 58 on the highway. I'm thinking sway bars and mopar s1 springs next. Im more of a show than a go person. I'll probably get the Mopar valve cover thats painted, have the intake manifold powdercoated, etc. I'm not too sure what else Id really want to do to my engine. I've got the S1, Short Ram, BOV, and OCC. And for me thats good enough for now. I might run a manual boost controller as well, but I need my spark plug wires fixed first.

Alrightie, I just found my camera, so Im gonna take some pix of the brakes, HIDS with the orange bulbs, and the DVD player. Ill post em up tonight.

Thanks everyone for the compliments

I always drive that way, whether its my car or not. Its just a respect for the law, yourself, your car, and the people around you. The speed limit isn't there to be broken. Plus you get better gas mileage at 55-60mph I enjoy just cruising around, Im in NOOO hurry to get anywhere. [8D] Plus the vette was kinda fun, I wanted to make the trip last
