Because I got my intake in the winter time. And with all the water laying around I found out with my first car that had a CAI (01 stratus coupe) that streets around me flood VERY easily, and so did my engine. I got the shortie because the difference between the two is very minimal. I love my AEM Shortie, I can always get the extension pipe in the future, but for now, especially with all the rain we've been getting, I feel confident that no water will seep its way into my engine bay through any type of cold air intake.

Yeahhhh you guys get all the nice weather and all the crappy stuff heads straight to the small *** state, Rhode Island. Thats probably why everythings 100x worse here cause its so small one raincloud engulfs the entire state! But yeah...thats why I went with that one, works good, makes pretty noises too lmao Can't forget the pretty noises

My first actual mod was the Mopar BOV. It should have been the OCC and then the MSD wires instead of the BOV and then the MSD wires.
