Default Commemorative Edition

Hey all y'all!

Just wonderin' how a guy/girl would go about rustlin' up one of them there new-fangled commemorative edition SRT-4s...went over to the dealer the other day and they had no idea what I was talkin' about! Are they an American-only car (I live in Canada)?

I'm also going to assume that you can't get the ACR package with the Commemoratives (would save helluva cash from not having to buy the suspension pieces seperately)?

Don't get me wrong, I love my electric blue '04, but I'm thinkin' the commemorative would have alot better resale value (if ever I decide to sell it) considering they're numbered collector pieces (plus, I want that book that comes with it!).

I don' know 'bout Canada, but you can get the comm. acr in the US. I saw one advertised the other day..

BTW, I saw a black ACR for sale at the dealer yesterday, and I must admit that it does not look as good with the 16" wheels. Big gap. I am sure it drives well, though.

Me, I'll do my own tokico 5-ways and wheels and sways. If that is the route I choose. I'll probably do coilovers, eventually, though.

Really? Where'd you see/hear it advertised? I'd heard you couldn't combine the two, so I'm curious.

Not sure where I saw it, but then again, it was a dealer generated ad and we all know how accurate they are.[:'(]

I did see a blurb about it in one of the magazines, though. They pictured a white/blue srt-4 and said it was an acr. I think it was pictured with blue and white commeratives from each model.

i havent seen an ACR in person either, but with the stock 17's there is too much wheel gap so with 16's it has to be even worse...

Yeah that's it. Guess it wasnt acr - but I am pretty sure any color can have acr other than blue, yellow and silver (since they aren't made anymore).

In person the commemorative SRT just isn't that appealing. The way they designed the stripes is just kinda awkward. And its pretty much a regular SRT-4 that your paying $1600 more for. The dealership across the street from my work says they have one coming in soon, god only knows why, they still have four leftovers (red/silver) hanging out over there....I think they need to get a clue lmao.
