$150 extra to spend for SRT4, what should I get???
You can get it for $335 @ modernperformance... That is without shipping, but I think it is 334 and some change...
My only problem with getting the Stage 1 is that I plan on getting the stage 2, not for a loooong while, but I do plan on upgrading to it!
I cant determine if it is a waste of money to get the stage 1 and a year later get the stage 2???
What do you guys think???
Thanks
Andrew

No, not a waste of $ at all in my opinion. I don't know what you have on your car, but you could also consider some supporting mods for the s2 with the 335 you wouldve spendt on the s1, just so your $ goes to a long-term goal.
question for the expert ladies....PSIChick, Lilsparnkplug, posthonda, or any of u experts: I never plan to use >100 octane fuel, and I could just install a boost controller, would it be worth it for me to get the s2 w/ toys, cuz i wanna save the 600 bucks if its not well worth it. (and im not saying im planning on it, just gettin to know the mods, for you baby boomers who scoff at me the 16 year old having this car)

If your not going to use the 100 octane for the high octane mode, then save your money and forget about the toys. The only real gain from the toys is the high octane switch, so it would be a waste of money for you to get the toys.
yup, what rr said. if you really don't plan on using race gas at all, then you might want to consider just staying with s1 and adding a wga and boost controller. s2 w/out toys is not worth the money imo. the only real benefit would be if you were going big turbo eventually, then the 3 bar map sensor and increased red line is definetly worth it. if you're not planning on a turbo upgrade, just stick with the s1.
^^^^^^I would like to comment that I need not comment - you guys/gals covered it well, and I don't have much to add beyond that, - just the one issue of driveability. I do like the fact that we are dealing with Mopar designed parts...lots of testing and development...makes me feel safer when it comes to long term use.
Like I said, do stage 1 for now - you will be happier for 335$ than any other 335$ you can spend. You will have no problem re-selling it when the time comes to upgrade, the marketplace eats these ecu's up like candy.

Really, where have you seen them used and what are they going for?
I thought that the ECU's where made for each specific car???

You can re-flash the ecu for any car - just needs the VIN re-programmed.
