Default G-Force Sport T/A

I know some of you SRT folk run the new G-Force Sport tire (lilsparkplug).

I am really thinking about aquiring a set for my SLOWWWW lil Neon.

My only concern is Snow.....

I really like the tire, but don't feel like swapping around tires in the winter time.

Anyone have any experiance with them????

I am also driving to Florida at the end of this month, so I'm kind of curious about road noise & ride quality...

Thanx.

No experience with them. But when shopping between the Proxes 4, and the BFG G-Force sport, I was told that the proxes would do better in the snow. I think your best bet would be just to get some BFG's then find some cheap steelies for the winter (PT cruiser style) and get some snow tires. You won't need them until around November anyhow, so you've got the time to save up the cash

I definitely do NOT regret ditching my new Proxes 4's for the BFG G-force...omg these tires are amazing, in the wet and the dry, and they're the best dry handling high performance tire out there.

I have the stock G force KDWs. I bought a set of Yokahama Avid H4SP 195-65-15 Tires for the winter. They are an all season tire and did a great job last winter. The 15 inch wheels do look a little funny. I live in Newark, De. which is not very far from you. I did not get winter tires because I would have burned them up on the dry pavement. If you are buying new rims and tires, just use your stock tires in the winter. Remember, nobody cares what your car looks like when it is stuck in a ditch. My $0.02.

You can't use the stock tires in the winter safely. They're 3-season tires, not meant for the snow. I've heard of one too many people tanking an object they didn't intend to when they turned the wheel and the car kept going straight.....

That's right 100%. Trying to drive in the snow with the stock BFG's is the same as playing Russian roulette, but with more than one bullet in the gun.[:'(]

I know you can't drive in the snow with the KDWs. That is why I have a set of all seasons. Morningpride has a Neon R/T. They don't come with the KDWs.

Yup,

No kdw's for me, i actually have a set of aluminum SXT wheels i use for snow, and the funny thing is, the car feels faster w/ the 15's than the stock 16's........

I really may get the sports, just because they handle better on the pavement that the stock goodyears...

Ahhhhh missed the fact that it was a neon, not an SRT-4, which does in fact make a huge difference in the tires. Oops I sowwy

The rims on my tires are 18" Katana Destiny's in Hyperblack with a Polished lip.
