Most of it seems to be whether or not your local dealer is cool about it or not.

Legally they can't void your warranty unless the specific part causes the failure. But they will give you a really hard time about it.

I originally purchased s2 when I bought my SRT-4 through the dealer and paid for it in my loan. I asked several times if they would warranty s2 since it came from Mopar and they assured me that they would. After several weeks of phone calls to them asking when the parts would be in, they told me they wouldn't warranty S2 (oops, they were mistaken) and I had to go with s1. Make sure they'll do it before you order it and get it in writing.

Dealers will dick you around like that. Unless you get a cool dealer. However Stage 3 voids your warranty completely, and states it as so on the box. I just ordered a 6/70,000 MaxiCare Warranty ) deductible, bumper to bumper, everythings covered warranty from my dealer. $150 bucks a month for a year. I'm not willing to sacrifice anything for that much more power.

Its entirely up to you. you bought the warranty, but see if they'll warranty you with Stage 2, talk to them, and a few other dealers before you order it, and see what they have to say on the matter. Try to make the agreement that if the damage/problem is caused by the S2 then you'll cover costs, but if it isn't they will.

Try that route...see if it works for ya. My dealership however, will warranty anything thats mopar that I or they install. (sans S3) Which rocks

Lil'? Where on the Stage 3 box does it say that? I don't recall such on my box? Or in my instructions? There is the disclaimer that installing the kit "has warranty implications", but no blanket statement of it voiding your warranty.

That being said, I don't consider myself to have a warranty anymore, and anyone who does think they do is sadly mistaken.
Of course, there are the exceptions, some folks get warranty coverage no matter what, due the dealer hooking them up. Legally, it's the same as Mopar BOV.

And before folks go nuts, remember, I said LEGALLY. The reality of it is different, and everyones experience is going to be different. Heck, same dealer, same service manager, same day, different results, depending on how his "nooner" went.
