Default Any SRT owners in WNC?

Just wondering if there were any SRT-4 owners here in the Western NC area. Would love to get together with some others and have some fun.

I used to live in Shelby, NC. Sometime in May or June I plan to drive back up there to visit some good friends...[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley4.gif]

Well make sure you drop a note if you're coming through. Maybe you'll have time to stop for a beer break. That 900 is one of those 2 strokes isn't it? Always have ridden Harley's but a friend of mine when I was younger rode one of those. Big time wheelie bike. Right now I have an 02 Buell X1 White Lightening. Take care.

I'll make of note of it, thanks for the invite! The 900 Kawasaki is a four stroke, my Yamaha RD400 is the only 2 stroke I own...my ex-wife rode a 2 stroke Yamaha 125 that she crashed. I owned a Kawasaki 750 "Triple" 2 stroke prior to the Z-1, that was the wheelie bike of all time, with lots of noise, smoke and speed, but not a lot of stability...[sm=smiley17.gif][sm=smiley4.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]

AH yes it was the 750. My mistake. It's been a long time since then. My girlfriend is riding a Ducati Monster now. What a nice handling bike. So if you're up to it when you come by please feel free to stop in for a break. Drop me an email before your ready to leave and I'll get you some directions.

Sounds good...I can't believe they've had so much snow around there. In the 3 years I lived in Shelby, we had a couple of ice storms, but only a few inches of snow....[sm=smiley20.gif][sm=smiley5.gif]

We really didn't have any snow here this year at all. Mountains make the weather interesting, can change in only a few miles. I was just looking. I bet you and I are probably some of the oldest SRT-4 drivers on this forum.

Yeah, I get some funny looks sometimes, mostly from teenagers. The old man who owns the gas station where I fill up gets a kick out of the car and comes out to look at it everytime I drive up...somebody at work referred to it as "a mid-life fling"! [sm=smiley36.gif][sm=smiley36.gif]
